Hideki Motosuwa is the main male character in this series. He is 19 years old and attending prep school in order to get into university. One day after prep school he sees a persocom in the garbage so he takes her home and turns her on. He takes her in after and teaches her things about real life. She is rumored to be a chobit which is a legendary, and also a persocom with feeling and emotions. which normal persocom dont have. As the series progress Chi starts to see another her inside her own self.

My review: I loved this anime. one of the reason is it is the only one with robot-human love. This story of course is fictional but i really wish it was real because it sure is a dream iw ould like to live, especially the part in finding love in a garbage (little humor there). Morio Asaka did an amzing job in directing this. I found really no flaws at all. I also like the part where the story is being told about a boy attending university and going through many trials in life and is still able to face them. Makes me wonder if I will be like him when i am 19.

Sound: The OP theme is “Let Me Be With You” by Round table featuring Neo. I personally love the opening and how it shows Chi’s feelings. The Ed themes are “Reason to Be” by Rie Tanaka(episode 1-13) and “Doll Princess” by Rie Tanaka(episode 14-25) and the last theme which was only shown in episode 26 is “Awkward Love” by Rie Tanaka. I think they should have picked different artists not kept using Rie Tanaka because i didnt much enjoy the ending themes.

Visual:I found the animation to be drawn lightly and smoothly. It looks like special care was taken into drawing Chi because out of this whol aniem she looks the best.

Replay Value: I would be willing to watch this anime 1000 times over thats how amazing i found it. I reccomend this anime to anyone that likes pure romance with a little sceince fiction going to watch this now because you dont know what your missing out on.
